The irony, btw, is that this is the only dress that I *fit* into while non pregnant and 7 months. And the funny thing is, I don’t even show a belly in this one. Oh Korean modest fashion sensibilities. The Hanbok is the only Korean dress that *doesn’t* make a woman feel fat. It just makes *every* woman look fat.

Also, if you must know, she said “Oooh La La” when delightful French panties that my friend Felita had purchased for me the week before, exploded out of my suitcase as I was settling in and unpacking my stuff at the convent.
So yeah. True story.

Panfrying crisp firm tofu is deceptively easy to mess up

Ways to fuck this up.
1. Slice the tofu too thin
2. Slice the tofu too thick
3. Don’t pat dry the tofu enough
4. Have too much oil in the pan
5. Have too little oil in the pan
6. Have the temperature too low
7. Have the tmperature too high
8. Let it sit in the oil too long
9. Let it get cold before serving.
Luckly for me tonight, i avoided *most* of these errors.
