What are your thoughts on the use of the noun “Fag” vs the use of the noun “Fag Hag”.

it all depends on context, and who is using it. Like any of these sorts of expressions.

For example, sometimes you just need to find an expression that rhymes with “rag tag.” Whatcha gonna do?

I agree, it’s very contextual. It runs into the exact same issue that other minority groups do on “reclaiming” a word. Personally, I have more issue with the “hag” part of the word–you’re telling me that this (often quite beautiful) woman standing next to a gay boy is “An old woman considered ugly or frightful?”

In college, bastion of Political Correctness, we suggested a neutral alternative: “Shopping Pal.”
