When your career makes it into the news

It’s not always a good thing.

For example — in today’s inbox was  my latest Advertising Age digest.  What apparently seemed noteworthy and newsworthy was the recent change in employment status for a particular blonde walmart marketing executive.

And while I have absolutely no personal experience or opinions on the character of Miss Julie Roehm directly, I find it fascinating that this entire article is a thinly veiled way of saying

“OMG – that total slut finally got her ass canned for fucking around with the people in the office.”

Wow. Sounds like a lot of people will be looking for lawyers this week.
