I wonder if you could write a word or two by each completed book indicating your impression/description of each! did you like them?

I’ve read Fast Food Nation, it’s compelling (the business of fast food) and makes me not want to eat taco bell…and I’m curious about “Salt”

All the boosk so far are quite good.

Salt is a brilliant book that is full of history & anecdotes. I like nerdy books like that. Similar in tone as Stiff by Mary Roach on the curious lives of cadavers, but not a subject as yucky.

Fast Food Nation: I don’t think I”ll ever eat ground beef ever again. Ick. And I’m considering doing a few months without redmeat at all. I’m now more curious about the production and industry of dairy & fisheries. These may be the next set of books or subjects that I go pursue reading.

Tipping Point: Fascinating on trend creations, and both idea viralaity and behavior changes. More often than not we tend to focus on negative virality and trends but there are some thought piquing ideas on how to use positive virality. I’m thinking that optimism seems… so counter-intuitive in this day and age…like if you’re optimistic, you’re somehow stupid. I’m thinking of figuring out how to tip the point on that to make optimism radically viral. Our generation needs a bit of love and optimism & asskicking.

RichDad/PoorDad: Interesting, thoughtful, a little heavy handed at times , but worthwhile to know with regards to me getting along into my 30s, being temporarily broke, and how I want to pursue my future and job opportunities going forward.

=D
Thanks for asking!

Yep–I thought Fast Food Nation was in the tradition of Upton Sinclair’s “The Jungle.” so provocative and stomach turning.

Based on your assessment, I think I’ll put Salt on my nightstand reading!
