I have the absolute sweetest daddy in the whole world.
He called me this morning to ask if I was ok.
“Sure Daddy, I’m fine. Why?”
“I reading da magajeen but no article”
“What?”
“You no haba article dis month in da magajeen”
“Daddy, after 3 and a half years you still look in the magazine every month for my piece?”
“Obba Course.”
“Oh my. Wow.”
“So eberyting ok?”
“Yes Daddy, Eberyting is fine. I’m just taking a break from KoreAm for a little bit.”
“Yah?”
“Like a vacation. I just didn’t feel very fresh about my writing so I wanted to take a little break and focus on some other things”
“Yah?”
“Yah.”
“Likeuh pocus on getting boyfriend?”
“Um…”
“Yah!”
