Song in my Head

Ever have an entire weekend with a tune lodged snugly in your head?
You tilt your head sideways and give it a tap, hoping that maybe the song will tilt out. No such luck. You shake your head just a touch. Even, perhaps stand on your head. You take a shower and let the warm water slide in your ear and out again in hopes that it’ll wash the song out.

Nope. No dice.

My milkshake is still better than yours.

I woke up this morning with a song from “A Mighty Wind” in my head…. “Potato’s in the Paddy Wagon”… Goofy folk music isn’t how I usually like to start my day.
