MinJungKim.com Braindump v 6.0 Gah. I’m still doing this?

Yeeehaw!

Texas Adventures: Yeeehawww Part 2:

Lets just say that I have an ungodly amount of semi-digested red meat in my belly right now.
Yes. More barbq. This time, at the infamous Salt Lick where the meat is plentiful and the tables are sticky.

Good natured snark of the day involved Pamela’s friend Kevin who was explaining how much he and his current galpal have in common. Besides both being bipedal mammals, they have two eyes, two nostrils, are reasonably sane, and hey, they both hate stupid people.

To which I couldn’t help but remark “My gawd, that’s so different than me. I mean, I *love* and I mean absolutely *love* stupid people. In fact, I have a growing affection for you right now.”

(cue laugh track)

After that a resoundingly charming wedding ceremony that Pamela was kind enough to attend with me. VJ & Greggy make a gorgeous couple and the wedding was charming, cozy, short, and sweet. I still made one of the grooms bolt down a malibu & doctor pepper with me. Otherwise, it was a grand affair and tremendously sweet and romantic. Nope, no glowsticks or chaps at this gay raver cowboy affair.

Following that was an informal bloggers meetup where Pamela and I met up with Jish, in town from San Francisco, and lovely locals including the charming and fateful couple Ari & Michael and Tim o’ Thompson. Muchly discussion on the nuances that determine whether events in a person’s life may be considered coincidence of fate.

For myself, and I was rather vocal about this opinion this evening, coincidence and fate are essentially the same species however fate has a significantly greater scale of impact that coincidence does. Coincidence can be trivial and amusing but not particularly life impacting. Whereas Fate determines great shifts in either personal lifestyle, psychological paradigm, or behavior.

What do you think on the subject?

I have convinced Tim to roadtrip up to Dallas with me in the morn as we meet up with Dallas Bloggers including Lovely lovely Leia, ultimate abs man Jeremy, mellifluous Mark, and our lovely host Dave.

Looks like we’re going to eat some meat on a stick tomorrow and I will try & cook Fobique for folks on Sunday.
Check in with y’all latter.
