Lunar New Year

Hey Peeps,
A very happy lunar new years to you peeps out there who celebrate. Hey, any new reason to get a little tipsy is alright with me, ya know. The inner poser in me is delighted. Today I picked up my drum practice pad and a couple other pairs of drumsticks. I’m still getting a feel for what I like and the balance. I think the first pair that I got from Jon still feels the most natural to me.. but then again, it could be because I’ve been using them the most often so far as yet. We’ll see.
So, I survived another Monday at work.
It’s kind of been overwhelming of late. I guess I should be glad to feel so needed, but sometimes it’s really frustrating and with such a small company, the demands can be high and the margin for error slimmer and slimmer. I just know that I need to handle things more like a grown up and I hate to admit that my 26 year old self is stall frustratingly in denial ad pushing away the chance for true maturity at every opportunity.
A batch of bills came in today…
Aren’t they a bitch. I wish that the bills evaporated as quickly as my flighty little expense habit did. But hey, now I have drums, and lipsticks, and other assorted goodies. Still, it’s too much *stuff*. Sometimes I think that hidden pockets in my cargo pants and the dryer is where all lipsticks go to die. It’s the infamous lipstick graveyard. Great lipsticks from Lanc�me, chanel, and even humble jane and blistex brands have met their doom there. Blah.. and my stock in Critical Path just totally tanked in the last week. Grief. And why didn’t I sell last summer? Stupidity and an ignorance in the whole stocks & trading thing. Dayam.. I used to measure my assets from the CP stock in TTs.. yeah.. one day when the stock rose an astronomical amount, I measured out… “Wow! I could get the coupe *or* The roadster…”.
Now, I can buy the keychain. Maybe.
Blah.
Oh yeah, and *you* out there. If you really think I’m so arrogant & conceited and yada yada, then why the hell do you bother still reading? Scoot your patoot. Nothing to see here. Really. Off to tuck myself in.
