Floats

Work. Work Work. But you know what? It was a good kind of Monday. My mind is dripping over with bubbling thoughts running down the sides of the pan like J’s chicken pot pie. Um… OK, that was a lousy metaphor. Yes I over indulged with leftovers today.
First off:
Scott. Wow. Thank you so much for making me feel beautiful. I’ll hold back on any other expressions of gratitude so that I don’t make Amy jealous. And I think it’s oddly appropriate that you draw me in a shiny pleather tank top while wearing a crucifix. Totally appropriate and I’m delighted beyond belief. Made my monday. I could really gush more. My goodness. *GIGGLE GIGGLE GIGGLE* More ammunition to the conclusion that all the good ones are either gay shy, or married.
Also: Had delightful mach 5 chat with the Queen Hedgie herself. Muah. Muah Muah. *I kiss you.* As I mentioned to Ms X before, don’t covet these babies. The carmex bills are murder. Plus, alas, they’ve been a bit out of practice.
In other News, Our Superheroine…
My most recent article for IIstix which I expect will be up in the next few days is regarding me re-claiming my virginity. I figure since it’s been nearly 2 years since I’ve gotten any super quality luvin, I should really be able to reclaim the big V back. That’s ok, really, I don’t need any volunteers to help me with my, *cough* dilemma. Really.
I’ve got an overflow of other private thoughts that I can’t even divulge and clear out of my head right now. I’m in an utter state of emotional chaos…the kind where things float and bubble about, not explode and bash violently.
I’m in the mood to listen to rain fall and yeah, I’ve still got Melissa Etheridge on repeat with All the Way To Heaven. Can’t shake why I need to hear it so much. Just a few more days I guess until I can totally shake the blahs. On similar nights I’d listen to Miles Davis - It never crossed my mind, Billy Myers - A Few Words Too Many, Mary Me Jane - You Didn’t Kiss Me, Ricky Martin - Perdido Sin Ti, Sting - Why Should I Cry For You, Satriani - ZZz ZZZ song, Peter Gabriel - Red Rain, Indigo Girls - Romeo & Juliet, Roy Orbison - I Drove All Night. All in the Key of D Minor, just like Spinal Tap’s “Lick My Love Pump”. Kidding.
I’ve been on a movie kick.
