*Grin* Long stretches away from work are awful nice huh?
Pooped from cooking. Today I went shopping for groceries with J, After a trip to Costco, 99 Ranch er Ranch 99, and Safeway, I think we’re done but we still have to make one last trip for odds & ends.
What’s the protocol on flirting with checkout peeps? I had a cute younger fella ask me if I was looking for something and I grinned, asked, flipped my hair subtly (not Charlies Angels style) and asked where i might find the bread stuffing. “Over in aisle 2 i think, would you like me to show you?” . *Grin* “No, I think I’ll be able to find it myself, thanks…” Slight backward glance and stroll off. I suppose the worst that could happen is that I’d have to switch over to Albertson’s from Safeway if I totally embarrased myself.
Also went to Min’s rocking party on Friday night. Happy Birthday Min! Met online journalists that I hadn’t met before.Raymond, Clara, and Dave which was pretty nifty.
My party is later tonight and in addition to the folks mentnioned above, Ernie and Gerard are to show up as well as Glenda. Additionally an unknown number of peeps. Hope we have enough food and booze. Should be a good party I think. My kimchi stuffing is looking pretty good and the sauce for my Dad’s amazing chicken wings turned out well. I don’t invent recipes, I steal them from other peeps. The Kimchi stuffing recipe is Cecilia’s down in La La land and the wings are all Dads.
Winnie’s probably right. I should take a bath, bubble out the blues (farting and with scented suds) and sip some Peju.
Isn’t it amazing how much some people can touch you when they’ve never ever touched you at all? You know who you are. *Heart* Hugs. Feeling warm and cozy inside. Good night. I’m pooped. Short entry. And, nope, didn’t get or become anything to the effect of drunken booty.
